Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - September 8, 1899 - Chas Hammer of Chicago, died at the home of his father-in-law, Gustaf Anderson, in this city last Saturday morning Sept 2, of hemorrhage of the lungs. The funeral was held from the Scandinavian church Sunday afternoon. The remains were interred in the Storm Lake cemetery.
