August 30, 1876 - Storm Lake Pilot - Sudden death — James M. Foster, whose residence was two and one-half miles west of this city, died very suddenly yesterday morning. The physicians pronounced it a case of apoplexy. The deceased recently located in this vicinity, and had won the respect and confidence of his neighbors and acquaintances. The funeral took place today. His age was forty-one.
