June 14, 1907 - Storm Lake Buena Vista Vidette - Mrs. Bradish was born about eighty years ago in Ohio and when quite young was married to a sea captain who later in life made a trip to the far east and according to report was killed.

Mrs. Bradish was the mother of two children, one of whom was kidnapped and the other was killed by the felling of a tree. Mrs. Bradish never recovered from the shock of her misfortune.

She came to Storm Lake about twenty five years ago and is known by all as an honest and upright woman. She was converted in girlhood and united with the Baptist Church and led a successful, Christian life, doing missionary work among the Indians in her younger days.

The last few years of her life she has been very feeble and this winter was taken to the county poor farm for better care, here she died last Thursday.

The funeral was held in the Baptist church Friday afternoon and the large number of floral offerings showed that the friends had not forgotten Mrs Bradish. Rev Williams conducted the services and the body was laid to rest in the Storm Lake cemetery.

It is not known whether there are any relatives or not, Mrs Bradish lived her life here independent of them, though afflicted and suffering, she did not ever forsake her trust in God and His goodness.
