September 19, 1895 - Storm Lake Pilot - As we stated in a brief note last week C.C. Angier died at his home west of the city September 12th, at the advanced age of 82 years. The funeral took place Saturday, conducted by his pastor, Rev. I.C. Wallis.

Mr. Angier was born at Westport, New York, January 11, 1813, and lived at that place until 1837, when he was united in marriage to Miss Callissie Kellmer. They farmed near Westport, New York until 1849, when they moved to Clayton county, Iowa.

In 1874 they came farther west, stopping with their son, Eugene, in Sac county, until the spring of 1875, when they took up the homestead where he lived until his death. Mrs. Angier's death occurred in 1884. Mr. Angier was a true Christian and for many years a member of the Baptist denomination. Four children survive him.
