Storm Lake Register - February 1, 1938 - Funeral services for Mrs. Chas. H. Fisk, a resident of Storm Lake for over 50 years, will be held at the Fiscus funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev Milton of the First Church of Christ will officiate. Bearers are Walter Steflen, Ray North, John Jenkins, Dr WF Miller, E. Spooner, and F Goff. Interment will be in the local cemetery.

Mary Jane Alexander was born in Ohio Dec. 26, 1852. At the age of 10 years she moved with her parents to Sac City and lived there until she was married to the late Chas. H. Fisk on Oct. 16, 1870. She came with her husband to a farm in Grant township that year where they resided until they moved to Storm Lake in 1881.

Mrs. Fisk had been in failing health for several years and passed away at the Swallum hospital Sunday morning.

She is survived by two children: Ernest E. Fisk of Storm Lake and Mrs George Hanley of Minneapolis.
