Gwen passed away in October of 2009. Preceded in death by her husband, Marshall, she was a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois, at the time of her passing.

Visitation was at the Glenview Evangelical Free Church, 2 Shermer Rd., Glenvie, Illinois 60025, on Friday, October 30, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., the time of service. Interment followed at the Fairfield Township Cemetery in Albert City, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Glenview Evangelical Free Church would be appreciated.
