Sue Carol Jorgensen, age 68, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at her home in Storm Lake.

Sue Carol Jorgensen was born on September 29, 1945, in Storm Lake, Iowa, a daughter of Paul and Ruth (Oglesby) Jorgensen.

Baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith, Sue grew up in Waterloo and later returned to Storm Lake where she graduated from high school. She worked at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center for many years.

In her spare time, Sue loved to read and watch old movies. She, also, loved animals and had many pets.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Martin (Vicki) Jorgensen, of Urbandale, Iowa; her nephew, Matt (Nikki) Jorgensen, and their children, Hailee and Taylor; her niece, Julie (Jesse) Parker, and their children, Jase and Jayla; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ruth, and an infant nephew.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to Marty Jorgensen at 9616 Horton Trail, Urbandale, Iowa 50322. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
