Jerrold Goodman, age 50, of Alta, Iowa, died on March 23, 2013, near Spencer, Iowa.

Jerrold P. Goodman was born on December 11, 1962, in Algona, Iowa, the son of John and Mary (Hanson) Goodman. He was baptized, received his first Communion, and was confirmed at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in Algona. Growing up, he attended school in Algona, graduating from Algona High School in 1981.

In October 1995, Jerrold married Kathy Wollesen at All Saints Episcopal Church in Storm Lake.

Jerrold worked as a mechanic and truck driver for many years. He was a member of the Buena Vista Blizzard Busters and the Albatross Rugby Team. He loved snowmobiling and riding motorcycles. In his spare time, he also enjoyed bowling, and he especially treasured spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathy Goodman, of Alta, Iowa; his daughter, Kasey Goodman; his stepson, Josh Fischer; his granddaughter, Aneissa Grace; his brother, Mike Goodman, of Algona, Iowa; and his sister, Jeanne Goodman, of Jacksonville, Florida; as well as extended family members and many friends.

Jerrold was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Goodman, and his brother, Mark.

Visitation: 4:00-8:00 p.m., March 26, 2013, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., March 27, 2013, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Interment: March 27, 2013, at East Lawn Cemetery in Algona, Iowa.
