Jason “Beafy” Allan Brock, age 36, of Linn Grove, Iowa, and formerly of West Palm Beach, Florida, died December 17, 2012, at the Spencer Hospital in Spencer.

Jason Allan Brock was born August 12, 1976, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the son of David and Rhonda (Christiansen) Brock. As an infant, he was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alta, Iowa, where he was later confirmed in 1990.

Growing up, Jason attended Sioux Valley Community Elementary School in Linn Grove and Peterson. In 1994, he graduated from Sioux Central High School. Next, he attended Western Iowa Tech.

Jason worked at the River Boat in Sioux City dealing cards before moving to Florida. While living in Florida, he worked on a Gambling Ship and then at a Casino.

An avid sports fan, Jason enjoyed watching baseball and football games along with collecting baseball and football cards. He also found pleasure in collecting wolf items and dragons. He liked playing cards, including cribbage, with his family and friends, and computer games on his PS Vita. He also liked putting together Legos of all kinds. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to casinos and playing pool. He loved vacationing with his family at Lake Okoboji and going fishing. He treasured the times he was able to spend with friends, especially his trip to Scotland with his roommate as well as his trips to Las Vegas. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Dave and Rhonda Brock, of Linn Grove, Iowa; his brother, Justin Brock, of Des Moines, Iowa; and his aunts and uncles: David and Shanda Bannister, of Storm Lake, Iowa, Doris Harvey, of Storm Lake, Iowa, Rick Christiansen, of Linn Grove, Iowa, Diane Christiansen, of Peterson, Iowa, Don and Kay Christiansen, of Kewanee, Illinois, and Denise Harding of Topeka, Kansas; as well as extended family and friends, especially those in Florida.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Maxine Christiansen and Don and Sylvia Brock; his uncles: Jerry and Gary Christiansen and Donnie Brock; his cousin, Tammy (Christiansen) Johnson.

Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. December 22, 2012, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rembrandt, Iowa.
Visitation: 4:00-8:00 p.m., December 21, 2012, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Homes in Storm Lake, Iowa.

We love you and we will miss you, Jason.
