Margaret “Marge” Carolyn Ebert was born on November 3, 1922, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Frank and Irene (Zoeller) Ebert. Baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marge, subsequently, graduated from Taylor Allerdice High School and Robert Morse School of Business.

Marge met the love of her life while he was attending Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with the U.S. Army Air Force. On September 5, 1945, she married Donald Fett in Pittsburgh. They were blessed with three daughters.

During most of their married life, Don and Marge farmed in the Hanover area. They enjoyed their winters in Arizona as snowbirds and retirement in Alta. For the past six years, Marge had lived at WEL-Life.

Marge enjoyed having friends and family around the table for a meal or coffee, playing cards, and knitting. She loved visiting with her family, especially savoring the precious moments with the little great-grandchildren.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; and her great-granddaughter, Janie Courter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters and their husbands, Lynn and Jim Turnquist of Omaha, Nebraska, Jeanne and Bill Dahl, of Plano, Texas, and Margy and Doug Joslin, of Marshalltown, Iowa; her grandchildren, Amy (Tim) Courter, of Sandy, Utah, Beth (Gus) Bassani, of Katy, Texas, Sara (Jason) Wheeler, of Richmond, Texas, Jeff (Robyn) Dahl, of Austin, Texas, Brandon (Jen) Dahl, of Allen, Texas, Chad (Lucy) Joslin, of Carol Stream, Illinois, and Todd (Jodi) Joslin, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nine great-grandchildren, Ben and Nathan Courter, Isabel, Lauren, and Grace Bassani, Brynley and Preston Dahl, and Brian and Zoe Joslin; and two sisters; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
