Alta, Iowa

Thomas Kay Cameron was born on October 13, 1935, in Niobrara, Nebraska, to Paul and Selma Block Cameron. He moved with his family to Cherokee County for a short time, then to Alta where he attended Fairview School, graduating in 1954.

On December 31, 1972, Tom married Judith Ann Corrington in Quimby, Iowa. They are parents of one daughter, Lisa.

Tom was a lifelong farmer in the Alta area. He enjoyed caring for his pets, attending farm auctions, and gardening, especially growing sweet corn.

Tom is remembered by his wife, Judy, of Alta; his daughter, Lisa (Tim) Andersen, of Ankeny, Iowa; his grandchildren, Cameron and Corinne Andersen; his sisters, Janis Kreisler, of Ida Grove, and Jeana (Vern) Hansen, of Trenton, Missouri.
