Patricia Ellen Pedersen, age 62, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died July 13, 2011, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.

Patricia Ellen Pedersen was born June 28, 1949, in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer Charles and Mildred Iona (Scott) Pedersen. Growing up, she was raised as Methodist. Patricia attended school in Wall Lake, graduating from Wall Lake High School in 1967.

Following high school graduation, Patricia worked in Sac City, Wall Lake, and later in Harlan at the Baptist Memorial Home. After moving to Storm Lake in 1986, Patricia worked at Bil-mar for twenty years.

An avid reader, Patricia also loved plants and flowers and enjoyed watching them grow. She treasured animals, especially feeding the birds and squirrels in her backyard.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, John Pedersen, of California; her sister-in-law, Glenda Begnoche, of Sioux City, Iowa; her aunts: Roberta Bradley, of Oceanside, California, and Frances (Clifford) Justice, of Harlan, Iowa; her niece, Ellyn Manzo, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; her nephew, Robert Charles Pedersen, Jr., of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; her cousins: Darrell Bradley, Deborah Bradley Birdsell, and John Justice; as well as extended family and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mildred Pedersen; and two brothers: Robert and Thomas Pedersen.

Graveside Service: 2:30 p.m. July 20, 2011, at Wall Lake Cemetery in Wall Lake, Iowa.
