William N. Snedeker
January 26, 1962 - October 18, 2004

William N. "Bill" Snedeker, age 42, of Storm Lake, died Monday, October 18, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.

William Noel Snedeker was born January 26, 1962, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He spent his childhood in Storm Lake, attending elementary school there before graduating from Storm Lake High School.

Following high school, Bill attended Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon and Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City. He was employed as a plumber in West Virginia and South Carolina and in maintenance at IBP. Currently, he worked as a Farm Manager in the Storm Lake area.

Bill was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Storm Lake in 1978. He was a faithful member of that congregation and was serving as a Trustee at the time of his death.

In his spare time, Bill enjoyed tinkering with anything electronic or automotive.

Those left to cherish Bill's memory include his mother, Mary J. Snedeker, of Storm Lake; his daughter, Krisondra Jean Snedeker, of Newell; his brothers: Mark John, of Storm Lake, Joel, of South Carolina, Michael, of Storm Lake, Tom, of Garvin, Minnesota, and Noel, of Niceville, Florida; his sisters: Jane Owen, of Memphis, Tennessee, Sandra Schmidt, of Maquoketa, Susan Geary, of Carroll, Sharon Snedeker, of Denton, Texas, Maureen Lauritsen, of Conyers, Georgia, and Tammy Sassman, of Rembrandt; as well as other extended family members and a host of friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Mark H. Snedeker, in 1996.

Memorial services were held Friday, October 22, 2004, at 5:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Storm Lake with Pastor Tom Hinshaw officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake.
