Leonard Larson
February 9, 1890 - October 15, 1974

Leonard Larson, 84, died October 15, 1974, at Buena Vista Manor in Storm Lake. Services were October 17, 1975, from the Jones Funeral Chapel in Alta with burial in the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake.

Leonard Larson was born February 9, 1890, in Buena Vista County to Sven and Christina (Johnson) Larson. On November 29, 1941, he was united in marriage with Iva Whitmore. Mr. Larson joined the Trinity Lutheran church in Alta on January 23, 1923, and had been a member ever since that time.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva; two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include three nephews: Virgil Larson, of Aurelia, Orville Larson, of Des Moines, and Earl Larson, of Washington, D. C. (Alta Advertiser, 10-31-1974).
