Harold H. Hogrefe
August 12, 1912 - February 16, 1970

Harold H. Hogrefe died February 16, 1970, at the Alta Memorial hospital. Services were Feb. 18 at St. Paul's Lutheran church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Harold Henry Hogrefe was born August 12, 1912, in Grant township, the son of Henry and Caroline Sievers Hogrefe. He married Helen Zwemke at Hanover on August 25, 1940. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; his sons, Harlan and Richard, both of San Jose, California; his daughter, Diane (Mrs. Ron) Chandler of Battle Creek, Michigan; a brother, William Hogrefe, of Albert City; his sisters, Clara (Mrs. Fred) Sorbe and Louise (Mrs. Leo) Pingel, and his twin, Helen, of Richmond, California; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and three sisters (Alta Advertiser, 3-8-1970).
