Nancy Newhouse, 75, originally from Storm Lake, died January 19, 2011, in Tucson, Arizona.
Nancy Deane Storck was born in Storm Lake on August 15, 1935, to Dean C. and Nina R. (Hogan) Storck. She graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1953 and then from Luther College. She married Darrell Newhouse in Waukon in 1955.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Alejandro) Barragan, of Tempe, Arizona, and Elizabeth (Joseph) Linville, of Tucson, Arizona; her grandsons, Josua Himebaugh, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and James Himebaugh of Tucson; her great-grandson, Eli Himebaugh, of Tucson; her brothers, James Storck, of Storm Lake, and John Storck, of Omaha, Nebraska, and by many cousins.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Darrell, and her son, Phil. Burial will be in the Storm Lake Cemetery later in the spring.
Services for Nancy Newhouse were held on Monday, January 24, 2011, in Tucson, Arizona.
