John F. Walton, 78, Hardy, Arkansas, was born on June 26, 1925, in Storm Lake to Agnes (McAbe) and Floyd Walton.

John worked at the Walton Sign & StainGlass Company.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Walton, of Hardy, Arkansas; his sons, Charles Walton, and wife, Kim, Sarasota, Florida, Chris Walton, of Tampa, Florida, Michael Walton, and his wife Juana, of Tampa, Florida, and Tim Walton, of Sarasota, Florida; his stepson, William Browning, of Lakeworth, Florida; his daughter, Nancy Odeh, Sarasota, Florida; his stepdaughter, Vicky Hart, of Morristown, Tennesee; his sister, Rosemary Koenen, of Spencer; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services for John Walton were held on April 14, 2004, at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hardy with Dr. Larry Kindrick officiating. Burial was at the Richardson Cemetery, Hardy, Arkansas.
