Cristina Salazar, age 29, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died December 25, 2010, at her home in Storm Lake.
Cristina Isabel was born August 11, 1981, in Mexico City, Mexico, the daughter of José Eugenio and Rosa (Medel) Salazar.
Cristina was united in marriage to José Valente Ramirez-Rodriguez, and together they were blessed with two children: Fabian and Jocelyn Ramizez-Salazar.
Cristina enjoyed learning new things such as English and the computer. She loved cooking and felt it was important to raise her children healthily. Cristina planned on getting an education to begin a career. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, José Valente Ramirez-Rodriguez, of Storm Lake, Iowa; her children: Fabian and Jocelyn Ramizez-Salazar of Storm Lake; her parents, José Eugenio and Rosa Salazar, of Storm Lake; her grandfather, José Medel, of Mexico; two brothers: Jaime Salazar, of Storm Lake, and José Salazar, of Storm Lake; as well as nieces; nephews; cousins; and extended family and many friends.
Cristina was preceded in death by three grandparents.

Cristina Isabel nació el 11 de agosto de 1981 en la Ciudad de México, México, la hija de José Eugenio y Rosa (Medel) Salazar.
Cristina se unió en matrimonio con José Valente Ramírez-Rodríguez y juntos fueron bendecidos con dos hijos: Fabian y Jocelyn Ramírez-Salazar.
Cristina disfrutaba aprender cosas nuevas como el inglés y la computadora. Le encantaba cocinar y consideraba que era importante criar a sus hijos de forma saludable. Cristina tenía previsto conseguir una educación para comenzar una carrera. Ella amaba a su familia y será profundamente extrañada por todos los que la conocían y amaban.
Los que se quedaron a apreciar su memoria incluyen a su esposo José Valente Ramírez-Rodríguez de Storm Lake, Iowa; hijos: Fabian y Jocelyn Ramírez-Salazar de Storm Lake; padres, José Eugenio y Rosa Salazar de Storm Lake; abuelo, José Medel de México; dos hermanos: Jaime Salazar de Storm Lake y José Salazar de Storm Lake; sobrinas; sobrinos; primos; extendida familia y muchos amigos.
Cristina fue precedida en la muerte por tres abuelos.
