Dwain A. McBride, 65, of Truesdale, died March 25, 2002, at his home in Truesdale.

Dwain Arthur McBride was born February 2, 1937, the son of Orvis and Alice (Lamb) McBride at Milford. He attended school in Truesdale. He was in the Army National Guard. Dwain married Betty Lou Hanson. He worked for Cargill in Alta for 22 1/2 years, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed camping and fishing.

Preceding Dwain in death were his parents.

Survivors include four children, Diane and her husband George Everhardt of Phoenix, AZ, and Dennis, Elmer and Peggy McBride all of Truesdale; three grandchildren; two sisters, Delores and husband Pete Fair of Lake Mills and Priscilla and husband Lou Shea of Cherokee; and one brother, Kenny and wife Peggy McBride of Atlanta, GA., and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Dwain McBride will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2002, at the Lone Tree Cemetery, Sioux Rapids with Pastor Emily Allen officiating.

There will be no visitation. The Sliefert Redig Funeral Home in Sioux Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
