Lovene Ambler - Aug. 21, 1912 - Sept. 7, 2001

Lovene Mardell Ambler passed away September 7, 2001, at the Buena Vista Regional Health Center after spending eighteen months at the Methodist Manor.

Lovene, daughter of Earl and Ada (Richardson) Dierwechter was born on August 21, 1912, at Storm Lake. She received her education at Storm Lake schools, graduating from Storm Lake High School.

Lovene married Thomas W. Ambler on July 5, 1940. She was baptized and became a member of the Church of Christ in Storm Lake. Her hobbies included golfing, reading and doing handiwork. She worked at the S & M Store and at the Mutual of Omaha office in Storm Lake.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Ambler, and a sister Aleda Park.

She is survived by her aunt, Rae Richardson, of Storm Lake; two nieces, Julie and her husband Jim Hopkins of Le Mars and Jorja and her husband Ross Geyer of Fort Worth, Texas, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on September 9, 2001, at the Sliefert Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Barber officiating.

Interment was at Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery, Storm Lake. Funeral Arrangements were by the Sliefert Funeral Home.
