Cynthia Mills Milton, 44, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Lakeside, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2001, after battling brain cancer.

Cynthia Marie was born Jan. 30, 1957, in Storm Lake, the daughter of Chuck and Rose (Brander) Mills of Lakeside. She graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1975. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Phoenix, Ariz. and worked at several jobs before starting her own business, "Tender Loving Plant Care."

She was united in marriage to Jim Milton in May of 1989.

Mrs. Milton was preceded in death by her father Chuck Mills of Lakeside.

She is survived by her husband Jim; one daughter Heather and one son Joshua, all of Phoenix; her mother Rose Mills of Lakeside; one brother and his wife Ron and Sheila Mills of Storm Lake; three sisters: Melinda Meyer, Jaclyn Eike and her husband of Storm Lake and Kathleen Mills of Grand Junction, Colo.; her mother and father-in-law; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law of Arizona; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2001, in Phoenix. A memorial will be held at a later date at the Mills park in Lakeside.
