Keith R. Wolf - July 14, 1953 - Jan. 25, 2008

Keith Wolf, age 54, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Friday, January 25, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Keith Rodney Wolf was born on July 14, 1953, to Don and Ethel (Byers) Wolf in Sac City, Iowa. He attended school in Sac City and graduated with the Class of 1971 from Sac City High School.

During the Vietnam War, Keith honorably served his country in the United States Navy.

On September 8, 1989, Keith was united in marriage to Maribeth Harry in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Keith was employed by Tyson Foods for 25 years. He was a member of the Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake where he helped with church Day Camp. He had been an active volunteer for the TLC After School Program, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts as well as coaching youth soccer and flag football.

Keith lived his life to the fullest and found much enjoyment in his family and friends as well as his dog, Mandy. He loved hunting, fishing, attending sporting events and collecting sports memorabilia. In addition, Keith took a special interest in working on computers and was most engaged when asked by his family to assist with any computer problems. In fact, he was often considered a “computer junky”. A special experience Keith shared with Maribeth was a trip he had won to attend Super Bowl XXXVII.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Maribeth of Storm Lake; his mother, Ethel Wolf of Sac City; his children: Jason (Christie) Wolf of Spring Hill, Florida; Joe (Jessi Dennis) Asmus of Barstow, California; Ashley Wolf of Storm Lake; and Keith Wolf of Storm Lake; siblings: Deanna (George) Trotter of Ainsworth, Iowa; Kerry Wolf of Brooklyn Heights, New York; Mark (Cindy) Wolf of Algona, Iowa; and Todd (Donna) Wolf of Garner, Iowa; mother-in-law, Virginia Harry of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother-in-law, Tal (Joni) Harry of Salt Lake City, Utah; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and many friends.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Don Wolf, and his nephew, Tyler Wolf.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake. Military graveside services will be presented in the Oakland Cemetery in Sac City at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2008. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home of Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake with the family present from 6-8:00 p.m.
