Obituary from the Iowa newspaper:

SIOUX RAPIDS -- Mary Belle Pewsey, 82, died Tuesday morning at Sioux Rapids.

Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church at Sioux Rapids. The Reverend O. M. McQuary will officiate and burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. The Henry Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Survivors are a son, Wayne of Calvin, North Dakota; an adopted son, Frederick Murray of Des Moines; a brother, Clyde Blount of Sioux Rapids; three sisters, Nellie Ritchards of Howard, Kansas, Isa Lauman of Rosemead, California, and Mrs. Ralph Jacobsen of Northfield; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pewsey was born and raised in Buena Vista county. She lived here all her life with the exception of 20 years which were spent in North Dakota. Her husband preceded her in death in 1958.
