Mae, the daughter of Rudolf C. and Bertha (Roby) Kraemer, was born Dec. 12, 1903, on the family farm at Alta. She was baptized into the Christian faith on May 11, 1913. She received her education at Rosedale Country School and Fairview Consolidated school for two years. She was employed for approximately four years by the Linn Grove Telephone Company. She was confirmed by Pastor O. Bahr of St. John's Lutheran Church at Hanover, near Alta, on April 9, 1940.
On Jan. 4, 1939, she was united in marriage to Clarence Huseman in Spencer. The couple made their home in Storm Lake and on Feb. 17, 1944, her husband passed away suddenly of a heart attack. She remained in their home helping others in the family.
Mrs. Huseman transferred her membership to St. John's Lutheran Church in Storm Lake where she served as president of the Ladies Aid and also vice president of the L.M.W.L. On April 12, 1981, she transferred her membership to Grace Lutheran Church in Storm Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters; two brothers and a nephew, Roger Peterson.
Mrs. Huseman is survived by three sisters: Esther Paap of Methodist Manor, Mabel Bentzin of Monticello, Minn. and Pearl Peterson and her husband Arthur; one sister-in-law Verna Kraemer of Alta; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; other relatives and friends.
