Eldon R. Patton, 74, of Lincoln, Neb. died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000.

He was born Sept. 26, 1925, in Diller, Neb., the son of Von and Naomi (Weddle) Patton.

Mr. Patton served in World War II and the Korean War.

He was a member of the VFW Post No. 131 and No. 3306, American Legion No. 3, Disabled Americans Veterans No. 7 and a former Buena Vista Post No. 2072 Post Commander in Chief in Storm Lake.

Mr. Patton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Beverly and two brothers: Bernard and Robert.

He is survived by three sons: Larry Erickson of Milford, Neb., Steve McCoy of Arapahoe, Neb., and Mike Moore of Peru, Kan.; one sister Pauline Casper of Lincoln, Neb.; two step-children; many grand-children, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at Lincoln Memorial Park, 6700 S. 14th Street in Lincoln.
