Lila F. Perrin - Mar. 22, 1935 - Mar. 5, 2007

Lila Fern Perrin, age 71, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died Monday, March 5, 2007, at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.

Lila was born March 22, 1935, to John H. and Grace A. (Hall) Perrin at Moorhead, Iowa. She received her education in the Moorhead area and moved with her parents to Storm Lake in November 1953.

Lila was baptized into the Christian faith as a young adult. She always loved being with her family and friends. Lila enjoyed being around people and had a special love for kids.

In spite of her handicaps, Lila always enjoyed her work at Genesis where she took pride in receiving the “Employee of the Week” award many times for her above and beyond work.

Lila enjoyed living with her family at Maywood and moved to make her home at Buena Vista Manor in February 2006 where she had many friends.

Lila is survived by three sisters: Darlene (Alfred) Carbaugh and Beula (Creighton) Millard, both of Storm Lake, and Vida (Jerry) Clark of Bancroft, Nebraska; one aunt, Sylvia (Perrin) Frost of Logan, Iowa; many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Dwight Archer; and nephew Jacob Bull.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake with Reverend Jamie Cutler officiating. Burial will follow in Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake where the family will be present.
