She served as a Girl Scout leader when her family was young. She was also a member of Eastern Star and the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary. A lifelong, faithful member of the United Methodist Church, Carol shared her love for the Lord teaching Sunday School and Bible School. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women.

Carol loved a good game of cards and taught her grandchildren how to play many card games. She was especially fond of playing bridge.

A loving wife and devoted mother, Carol treasured the time she spent with her family. In her later years, her grandchildren brought so much joy into her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
