Doris Imerman, age 82, of Newell, Iowa, died March 17, 2010, at the Newell Good Samaritan Center in Newell.

Doris Elizabeth Shull was born April 13, 1927, in Glen Elder, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse and Annetta (Deschler) Shull. She was baptized into the Methodist faith in 1956. Doris attended grade school through 8th grade.

In 1947, Doris was united in marriage to Dick Clark in Mason City, Iowa, and together they were blessed with three children: Greg, Jeff, and Janine. On May 7, 1965, she later married Lloyd Imerman in Hampton, Iowa.

Doris enjoyed reading novels, playing Bingo and shopping, especially when she could find a good bargain. Doris loved nature and being able to sit outside. She treasured spending time with her family and will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Greg (Joannie) Clark of Garnavillo, Iowa; Jeff (Paula) Clark of Santa Barbara, California; Janine (Paul) Davis of Lakeside, Iowa; her grandchildren: Jeremy (Trisha) Clark of Simi Valley, California; Heather Clark Rubin of Dallas, Texas; Ana (Matt) Phillips of Storm Lake, Iowa; Jacob (Marqeaux) Clark of Sacramanto, California; Adam Davis of Storm Lake, Iowa; great grandchildren: Dillion Rubin; Aiden, Peyton and Natelyn Phillips; extended family and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Annetta; her brothers: Richard, Francis and Lowell Shull; and one sister, Joyce Bosma.

Graveside Service: Private memorial service at 1:00 p.m. March 30, 2010, at Hampton, Iowa, Cemetery
