Wayne W. Armstrong - Feb. 26, 1926 - Jan. 27, 2005

Wayne W. Armstrong, age 78 of Storm Lake, Iowa, died Thursday, January 27, 2005, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Wayne William Armstrong was born on February 26, 1926, to Orville Clinton and Leora (Berkler) Armstrong. He spent his entire life on the family farm in Lincoln township, Buena Vista County, Iowa. He attended school at Truesdale, Iowa.

Wayne enjoyed bowling and fishing and spending summers at the cabin in northern Minnesota. He took great pleasure in spending time with his beloved dog, Duke. Wayne also enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center in Storm Lake.

He is survived by one brother, Bob and wife Darlene Armstrong, and one sister, Maxine Armstrong Lullman, all of Storm Lake.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Orville Clinton and Leora Armstrong; one brother, Merlyn Armstrong; one brother-in-law, Elmer Lullman; one sister-in-law, Esther Armstrong Lussman; and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials honoring Wayne be given to the charity of your choice.

Private family memorial services for will be Monday, January 31, 2005, at 2:00 pm at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. There will be no visitation. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
