MRS. T. TEGELER BURIED SATURDAY AT STORM LAKE

Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa Tegeler, 74, were Sunday afternoon at 2 at the First Methodist church, Schaller. Burial was at Storm Lake beside her son Everard, and granddaughter, Beulah Tegeler, daughter of Louis Tegeler.

Rev. B. Roy Brown, pastor, conducted the services. Burial arrangements were in charge of the Geo. S. Knowles Funeral Home.

During the service, Mrs. Lester Schwab sang two favorites of the deceased, "Jesus Saves" and "Goin' Home." Mrs. George Brooks was pianist. Pall bearers were Edw. A. and George Woodke, Fred Koch, August Clausen, Ben Christiansen and Roy Zoffka. The beautiful flowers were in charge of Mrs. Carrie Bradley and Mrs. J.E. Meier.

Mrs. Tegeler suffered a paralytic stroke early Monday of last week from which she did not rally and passed away quietly on Friday morning. She was 74 years, and 7 days old.

Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Lydia Fuller of Clyde, Kans.; two brothers, Emil Pfeiffer of Lynn, Kans. and Erdman Pfeiffer of Kress, Texas; five granddaughters and their husbands--Mr. and Mrs. Dan Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Groff, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Anderson, all of Springfield, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Bohl and Mr. and Mrs. John Allgood of Auburn, Nebr., and a son-in-law, William Kuritz of Springfield, Minn. There are 16 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Tegeler was a member of the First Methodist church, Schaller. She was friendly, kindly, a sincere Christian who made many friends during her short residence here.

Many of the relatives listed above were here last week. Louis Tegeler has gone to Springfield, Minn. to make his home with a niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Myers.

Neighbors assisted her son, Louis with her care after the stroke until arrival of relatives. Later the same neighbors and friends found many ways to be helpful in the Tegeler home and to the relatives.

Theresa Freidrike Henrietta Pfeiffer was born August 10, 1871 in Saxony, Germany at Halle. She was baptized at an early age. She moved to the United States with Kans., where she grew to womanhood. There she became a member of the Protestant church.

In 1888 she married Louis Tegeler of Ames, Kan. To this union four children were born, two girls and two boys. Her husband, one daughter and one son, preceded her in death. The living daughter is Mrs. George Rogge of Auburn, Nebr.; the son, Louis Tegeler of Schaller.

In 1913, Mrs. Tegeler moved to Storm Lake where she made her home until 1942. That year she and Louis came to make their home here.
