BENZON, Rev. J. S., died at his home in Marathon, Buena Vista Co., Iowa, Wed., 13 March. He was born in Gunnarp, Halland, Sweden, on 10 Oct., 1835, attended Ahlberg's School in Sweden and came to America in 1864. He studied at Augustana College two years and was ordained in 1866.

Surviving are wife, six children, and sisters Mrs. SUNDIN, Mrs. HAGBERG and Mrs. FLOREN, all in Moline, Ill..
