It is VERY difficult to obtain records of any sort regarding patients at M.H.I. regardless of how long ago they resided there, died, were discharged. To protect the privacy of those involved, you must be able to prove that you have a legitimate direct line reason for the request, and then it is not automatic...and rightfully so. You will need to contact the hospital and they will tell you the next steps in your search. Best wishes....Marlys
