Services for Ed Silver, 67, who died Thursday at Mercy Hospital in Oelwein, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First United Presbyterian in Hazleton; burial in Hazleton Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; three sons, Sterling and Steve both of Hazleton, and Jerry of Orlando, Fla.;eight grandchildren; a sister, Amy Nelson of Cedar Falls; and two brothers, Gordon of Cedar Falls and Clifford of Waterloo.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Brant-Kerns Funeral Home in Oelwein.
