Services for Chad Allan Musser, 9, son of Allan and Susan Hamilton Musser, who drowned Thursday about 4 p.m. near Hazleton, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein; Scripture services at 8 p.m. Friday at Brant-Kerns Funeral Home in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.

Survivors include his parents, a sister Stacia Lynn at home. Maternal grandmother Eleanor Hamilton of Oelwein, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Garcia, Oelwein; paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Bonnie Lamphier, Fayette. Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral chapel. Chad would have been a fourth-grade student at Hazleton School this fall.
