Cheryll Steege, formerly of Strawberry Point, Iowa died at the ABCM West Rehabilitation Center in Independence, Iowa on Tuesday evening June 11, 2024, with her family at her side. She was eighty-five years old.

For many years she was the head cook at Starmont Elementary. A job she truly loved.

She is survived by her two daughters; Deb (Lowell) Karsten and Sara Perry, and her granddaughter; Samantha Perry.
