Lynda L. Hertenstein, 76, of Oelwein, Iowa, died at her home on Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Graveside Service: 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein, Iowa, with Rev. Ray Atwood officiating.

Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein, Iowa.

Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein is assisting the family.

Lynda Louise Watt was born February 27, 1946, in Oelwein, Iowa the daughter of Marguerite Watt. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in Oelwein. Lynda worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Lynda enjoyed bowling, reading, watching Fox News, making crafts and was especially gifted in embroidery.

Lynda is survived by her Brother: Ron (Joy) Lavoi of Excelsior Springs, Missouri and

Friends including: Gay & Keith Davis. Gayla Davis and A.J. Davis all of Oelwein.

Lynda was preceded in death by her mother, Marguerite Mendez and a sister: Lila.
