William L. Bultman, 94, of Madrid and formerly of Oelwein, Iowa, died Friday evening, March 4, 2022, at the Madrid Home in Madrid, Iowa.

Private family graveside services will be held at St. Albert Cemetery, Lamont, Iowa

The Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

William L. Bultman was born on September 27, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William & Alma (Wick) Bultman. He received his education at Mt. Clemon Catholic High School in Michigan. Bill was united in marriage to Celeste Florence Helling on January 15, 1955, at St. John Catholic Church in Houghton, Iowa. Bill farmed with his wife, Celeste, northeast of Aurora for 43 years. They moved to Oelwein in 2001. Bill was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein.

Bill is survived by his wife: Celeste Bultman of Madrid; 6 children: Mary (Doug) Harrison of Mt. Pleasant, Randy (Mary) Bultman of Avondale, Arizona, Mel (Laura) Bultman of Marengo, Illinois, John (Amy) Bultman of Ankeny, Shawn (Renee) Bultman of Hampton and Faye (Mike) Ellis of Ankeny; 10 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; and 2 step great-great grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Robert; and a daughter: Janet.
