Brenda M. Irvine, 66, of Stanley, Iowa died Thursday morning, December 31, 2020 at her home.

A private family memorial service will be held at the Stanley Union Church in Stanley with Pastor Phil Rownd officiating.

Public Visitation: 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein.

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings and the recent surge in the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required. Those in attendance are required to wear a mask. We encourage relatives and friends not able to attend the service to reach out to the family by leaving a message on the funeral home web site, by mail, text or phone.

Brenda Michelle Dial was born September 8, 1954 at Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Mona (Postal) Dial. She graduated from Jefferson High School and Hawkeye Tech. On September 29, 1991, she was united in marriage to Robert Irvine. Brenda was employed at Iowa Farm Automation as a secretary. She enjoyed cutting hair, selling jewelry for Schragas Jewlers from New York, going to the races, boating, camping and taking care of lots of animals.

She is survived by her husband: Rob Irvine of Stanley; 3 sons: Cory Carver of Holton, Kansas, Gary (Kristin) Aldrich of Raleigh, North Carolina and Chris (Rose) Carver of Hazleton; 7 grandchildren: Vic Carver, Jeramiah Carver, Michael Carver, Zach Carver, Marissa Carver, Carson Aldrich and Darien Aldrich; 2 sisters: Candy (Jim) Rude and Wendy (Joel) Merck all of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; 2 nephews: Seth Hawkinson and Shawn Hawkinson; 1 niece: Leslie Renfroe; parents-in-law: Phil and Janice Irvine of Oelwein; brothers-in-law: Jeff (Becky) Irvine of Easton, Kansas, Tim (Lorrie) Irvine of Castalia, Ken (Deb) Irvine of Postville, Randy (Dana) Irvine of Oelwein and David (Colleen) Irvine of Stanley; and several additional nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather: Walt Workman; and sister: Christine Dial.
