Debbie Lincoln, 54, of Lamont, Iowa died on Monday morning, December 21, 2020 at Heritage Specialty Care in Cedar Rapids.

A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, Lamont, with Rev. Mike Jager officiating.

Public Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Lamont.

Interment: Campton Cemetery, Lamont, Iowa.

Fawcett-Schmitz Funeral Home in Winthrop is assisting the family.

Debbie Kaye Elsbury was born May 2, 1966 in Cherokee, Iowa, the daughter of Fred Edgar & Diane Kaye (Gibbs) Elsbury. She graduated from Starmont High School in the class of 1984 and continued her education at Kirkwood Community College, completing the Certified Medical Assistant program. Debbie was united in marriage to Richard Leroy Lincoln on June 16, 1984 at the United Methodist Church in Strawberry Point, Iowa. Debbie and Richard were blessed with three children, Amber, Alyssa and Adam. The family made their home in Lamont. Debbie worked in the medical field for a short time. She then worked at K & A Farm Equipment in Strawberry Point for several years. Most recently, Debbie was a para educator at West Delaware Community Schools in Manchester.

Debbie was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Lamont, the Lamont Community Club and the Lamont Coloring Club. Debbie was a gifted artist, painting for her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening with her family.

Debbie is survived by her Husband: Richard Lincoln of Lamont; Three Children: Amber (Curtis) Paustian of Anamosa, Alyssa Lincoln of Lamont & Adam Lincoln of Lamont; Three Grandchildren: Paislynn Lincoln, Piper Covault & Aubrey Paustian; Parents: Fred & Diane Elsbury of Lamont; Three Siblings: Michael (Cyndi) Elsbury of Byron, Illinois, Dennis Elsbury of Tampa, Florida & Brenda Elsbury of Cedar Rapids and many Nieces & Nephews.

Debbie is preceded in death by her grandparents and a grandson: Carter Paustian.
