Falls Thirty Feet.
Aurora, Iowa, June 16.—A terrible accident happened to Nelson H. Bradley on Wednesday morning while he was working on W. Ingamell’s new barn. He was standing on a plank, using a sledge, when one end of the plank slid from its support, causing him to fall a distance of over thirty feet, and strike a timber on the way, landing on some stones. He was brought to his home where doctors set the broken bones and did all that was possible for his comfort. It was found that the left leg, shoulder blade and three ribs were broken, and that there were also internal injuries. He died as a result of his injuries.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1848 and is buried in Madison Cemetery.
