Cheryl A. Price, 73, of Rowley, IA died on Sunday August 30, 2020 at Unity Point – St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Cheryl was born on March 9, 1947, in Oelwein, IA the daughter of Norman K. and Martha (Miller) Hanna. She attended St. John’s Catholic School in Independence. On October 12, 1963 she married Thomas Trenton Price in Jesup, IA, and they made their home in Independence. Together they had four children. Cheryl enjoyed driving for their T & C Trucking Company, and together they drove throughout the United States.

She liked to travel with Tom and together they went on fourteen cruises throughout the Caribbean and Alaska. She enjoyed going to casinos, and always stopped at the Boomtown Casino. Cheryl loved the spending time with their grandchildren, especially on their trucking trips. She also loved her dogs and would take them with on their many trucking trips.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Thomas Price, Rowley, IA, her children, Linda (Vern) Cornwell, Independence, IA, Terry (Myra) Price, Rowley, IA, and Curt (Kris) Price, Independence, IA, nine grandchildren; Jamie (Dan Ackerman) Cornwell, Rusty (Madison Scott) Cornwell, Matthew (Rudy Silvas) Holman, Sasha Price, Courtney (Dan) Main, Trent Price, Kurtis Price, Keaton Price, Karlie Price; three step grandchildren; Brittany (Cass) Hill, Austin Johnson, and Jacob (Michaela) Johnson, sixteen great grandchildren, two sister; Virginia Aitkin, Morehead City, NC, and Jeanette (Joe) Brown, Chino Valley, AZ, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Thomas Price, a brother-in-law, Bob Aitkin, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Yearous.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday September 4, 2020 at the Reiff Family in Independence, IA. Burial will be held in Rowley Cemetery, Rowley, IA. Friends may call from 4 PM until 8 PM on Thursday September 3, 2020 at the Reiff Family Center n Independence.
