Winthrop, IA - Louis Singer, one of the
pioneers of this county, passed away
at his home west of town after a long,
lingering illness. The funeral services
were conducted by Rev. Ramsey at the
house and the remains were laid to
rest in the new cemetery. (Fairview Cemetery)
