From the Independence Bulletin Journal we learn that Warren P. Barnhart, of the firm of Barnhart Brothers & Spindler, type founders, of Chicago, died on the 7th inst. At one time Mr.
B. was part owner of five town papers, of which the Independence Conservative was one. They went from Iowa to Chicago and into the type founding business at a fortunate time and built up a business reaching almost from ocean to ocean. He was in his 68th year, and the B. J. says was a man of noble characteristics and high honor is acknowledged by all who knew him.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago and was born November 9, 1836.
