Jerry J Boubin Jr., 56, of Waterloo, IA died of natural causes on Friday, August 4, 2017 at his home in Waterloo, IA.

Jerry was born on April 22, 1961 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the son of Jerry A. and Bonnie K. (Neprash) Boubin. He was a 1979 graduate of the St. John’s Catholic School in Independence, IA, and went on to study at the University of Iowa. In 1983 Jerry married Kim Schafrick in Cedar Rapids, IA, and made their home in Independence, IA; they later divorced. He worked as the sales and general manager of Boubin Tire from 1980 until 2005. He moved to waterloo and started working as a Computer Technician for Bergankdv in Waterloo, IA from 2005 until his death.

He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, and had a passion for music.

He is survived by his father, Jerry A. Boubin, Independence, IA, his son James (Sarah) Boubin, Cedar Rapids, IA, two sisters Deb (Dan) Hosch, Independence, IA, and Angie (Bill) Versluis, Independence, IA, a brother Mike (Diana) Boubin, Denver, CO, and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie K. (Neprash) Boubin.
