In his earlier years, you could find him on the ball diamond playing slow pitch, anywhere a cribbage game was going on or at a neighborhood game of horseshoes. Paul taught gun safety classes and was involved in the Boy Scouts. He loved nature, birds and especially hiking, hunting and canoeing.
