Brandon- Funeral services for Harold L. Hertzberg will be 11 a.m. Monday Dec. 15, at the Church of Christ in Brandon, with Rev. Alvin Nicholson officiating. Burial will be in Brandon Cemetery.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the White Funeral Home, Independence.

Mr. Hertzberg, 69, died Wednesday, Dec.10, 1997, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.
He was born July 2, 1928, in Buchanan County the son of Larraine Howard and Martha Amanda Weidemann Hertzberg. He graduated from Jesup High School in 1946. On June 24, 1951, he married G. Pauline Fish at the Church of Christ in Brandon. The couple farmed near Brandon. Mr. Hertzberg was a member of Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline; one son, Michael(Veronica) of Brandon, one brother, Robert C. of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and one sister, LaVelle Wessels of Hazleton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
