The sad news reached here Tuesday of the death of Frank Auten, who passed away at Boulder, Col., that morning. Mr. and Mrs. Auten left Winthrop for Colorado last October, in hopes that the change of climate would be beneficial to his health. Later on his mother, Mrs. W.T. Auten, joined them and he received the best of medical care, assisted by loving hearts and willing hands, but to no avail. Frank was an industrious young man of 23 years, having been married only two years ago. The loss will be keenly felt by the loving and devoted wife and his mother and by many relatives.

The grief-stricken wife, his mother, and all the relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of all in their sad loss.

The funeral servicees will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the M. E. church. Rev. Bretnall, of Lamont, will have charge of the service, assisted by Rev. Fort. A more detailed obituary next week.
