Clark E. Williamson, 88, of Independence, Iowa died Saturday, October 24th, 2015 at Unity Point, Allen Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa

Clark was born on July 14, 1927 in Independence, Iowa the son of Edward and Alvina W. (Trevor) Williamson. He attended the Independence Community Schools. He enlisted with the US Army on June 26, 1946 serving until his discharge on June 5, 1947. Clark returned to Independence and was employed as a service station attendant in the Independence area.

He is survived by a brother Robert C. Craigmile, Gowrie, Iowa and nieces and nephews.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers; Lavern, Roger, and Boyd Williamson.

Graveside inurnment services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at Wilson Cemetery, Independence, Iowa with Rev. Greg DeBoer officiating.

The Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
