Marilyn M. Weber, 81, of Quasqueton, Iowa died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the home of her daughter Cindy Moline in Waterloo, Iowa.

Marilyn was born on October 22, 1933 in Tripoli, Iowa the daughter of Erwin H. and Mabel L. (Hartman) Hay. She was a 1951 graduate of the Tripoli High School and later received a Secretarial Certification from Hawkeye Technical Institute in Waterloo, Iowa. She lived in Waterloo, IA, Denver, CO, and California prior to moving to Quasqueton, IA in 1965 Marilyn was married to Wayne A. Weber on March 3, 1973 in Galena, Illinois. She was employed with Bob’s DX and Hay’s Café in Quasqueton prior to becoming a unit secretary with the Peoples Memorial Hospital and Extended Care Center in Independence retiring in 1980.

She was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and the Walk for Life, and an active member of the Buchanan County Republican Committee. She enjoyed her family, flowers and fishing on the Mississippi River.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Wayne Weber, Quasqueton, IA, , two daughters; Cindy (Todd) Moline, Waterloo, IA, Pam Yarrington, Orlando, FL, five step-children; Linda Elsberry, Owasso, OK, Dwayne Weber, Independence, IA, Christy (Curt) Hamm, Savanna, GA, Debbie Schuster, Manchester, IA, Curt (Jaci) Weber, Independence, IA, sixteen grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, a sister; Shirley Thompson Akron, OH, and a brother Arlis Hay, La Pine, OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Union Church, Quasqueton, IA, with Rev. Kevin Jennings and Dr. Rev. Charles Clark officiating.

Burial will be in the Quasqueton Cemetery, Quasqueton, IA. Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the Reiff Funeral Home in Quasqueton, IA, and from 10 AM till services Saturday at the church.
