Special to the Times Journal:
Independence, Ia., Dec. 10. – A 2 year old child of William Scott, of this city, fell into a boiler of hot water, Tuesday, and died from the effects of his burns yesterday. Only a few months ago another child of Mr. Scott’s got its clothes on fire and was so badly burned that they though it would die. The death of this child makes the fourth death in this city as the result of burning a little over a year.
